Just seeing what others think here.

I have been surfing my 9'6" Coreban Performer in general 1-2ft waves confidently for some time but when I get it out in slightly larger or more powerful surf I find I am struggling to top turn sharply as I can on slightly smaller waves but more importantly I am finding the back end sliding out from time to time when doing a bottom turn from the cut back (hope this makes sense)

Had it happen a couple of times last night in clean 3ft swell and although sometimes it can be quite fun - just hang on and wait for it to grip, it threw me off last night with someone paddling out in front of me.

I would assume a larger fin would perform beter in both areas or would it pssibly just come down to design?
