Happy easter!
My 8 1/2 year old daughter has caught the surfing bug big time. She's starting out on an 8 foot star soft board as I thought big, floaty, and stable was the best way of going. She can't decide whether she's a natural or goofy and each time she tries to get up she is doing it different. She practises on the beach before going out, and loves every minute being in the water but she is not picking it up super quick.
She had some lessons before christmas where she started off natural but the coach thought she would go better goofy. She copped some pretty crappy on shore days for her lessons and got a bit of a flogging but still came up with a big smile on the dial.
Are there any good youtube videos or other places that have good coaching videos for beginners and especially kids?
