Has anybody made their own deck pad using 3mm eva yoga mat? Anybody know what the eva density for a sup pad is? And density of an eva yoga mat?

amart allsports have mats for $40, range of colours and patterns. Large enough to do. Couple of boards.

I have now been out twice on my new Stone Surf Designs custom kitesurf board, and loving it, and will only get better once I can tame it!

I have deck grip at the tail, but not at the front (dont want to hide it's pretty bamboo deck!), and I have found my foot slides off really easily when pushing the board around, even though it is well waxed up, particularly later in the session. This results in a not-pretty outcome usually....

I am new to this surfboard game, what waxes do you reccommend? I have the cold sticky feet wax on it currently, but wasnt sure if you use a wax to the air or water temp, or if there are better options?

Do I have to scrape it all off to start again if I try a new wax?
