So did the splits yesterday when back foot slipped off pad on my SB WP 8'2". Felt something snap on inside upper thigh, pretty awkward walking now so off water for a couple of weeks. Had been meaning to sort out the slippery grip as foot slipping has happened a few times now..... Had thought about taking a router to the pad but have a feeling even a grooved pad at the back will be slippery as its still the same pad material. Have some Monster spray. Aware this is not its intended usage but has anyone tried spraying it on pads to increase grip? I'd test first to make sure it doesn't melt it.
