Nuclear Wind this week
Cameras were few, but there was no shortage of wind - gusting to 45 knots.

3.7 metre sails were too big. We sailed at Bellbuoy, and got flogged. We sailed at East, and got flogged...then we went home...

While the wind was a light breeze of about 30-35 knots I managed to sail my 'too big' 70l Evo, with front camera mount for just long enough to get some trial footage. Grabs attached.

If anyone is contemplating this, do it in controllable wind. It is terrifying having $500 worth of camera right in the spot where your mast hits when you go over the handle bars. I didn't try back-looping in that wind, but I am concerned that the front-in landings might remove the mount too. That said, it seemed to go through the white-wash quite happily.

Hot tip - charge your cameras BEFORE you leave to go for a sail.

For all those who sailed - there will be other days.
