Local surfboard shapers-Who to go with?
The sort list at the moment is:
Delta, Colin Earle and Katana.
Came up with these 3 from a quick search through the archives here but I am definitely open to more.
Looking for people's experiences with the WA shaper's because honestly I can't decide. I'm sure there are pros and cons to all of them, not even pros and cons but different aspects of their shaping/construction that will suit different rider's styles.
I'm 85 kg and 6 foot
Kiting for about 1.5 years and surfed my whole life.
Looking for a board to do the down the line thing with as little input from the kite as possible to be ridden strapless most of the time (which I am only just getting into) but have inserts so when it gets big I can put the safety blankets back on.
Wave size: waist/chest high up to head and a half.
So who should I go to and WHY? Which shapers kite themselves? Who's got a construction that is in the middle of being strong but still retains flex and doesn't feel like your surfing a bit of plastic? Who's reasonably priced?
Also open to suggestions on shape from the tech heads on here. Tail shape, rocker, fin set up ect
Thanks in advance.
