Every year the Port Adelaide Sailing Club runs the Port Line Cup and Icebreaker regatta in the confines of the Port River. The river is narrow and present unique sailing challenges and its close proximity to the land is a fantastic spectacle for sailing.
The event is being held on the 3rd and 4th of August and already there is a large proportion of trailerable and sportsboats entered.
www.topyachtsoftware.com/db/aus/entry_menu.php?EventID=272The event is open for boats larger than 6.0m and the event is one of the most prestigious inshore sailing events in South Australia. The club will be open throughout the weekend for bacon and egg rolls each morning, hot lunches for spectators and bbq dinner and live entertainment. Best of all the club is a volunteer club and as such the Coopers is true 1980's prices.
