I need a few bits for a footing. The footing is not load bearing and is more ballast to stop people stealing the thing that'll be bolted to it.

Despite not being structural, I understand that a bit of reo is a good idea to prevent it falling apart of cracks start to appear (the "footing" will be about 1200mm long x 500mm wide x 200mm thick).

I was thinking I could just grab an off-cut about the right size and that actual reo type shouldn/t matter too much for this particular job?

Anyone know of somewhere with a bit about that big that is considered scrap? Preferably between Claremont and Canning Vale?
