I'm a newbie, struggling to get up on the board. I have just bought my own kite (cabrinha 2011) and harness.
I know its winter but I'm really eager to practise my kite skills in the water before summer starts.
My problem is i'm having trouble reading the internet (wind direction & location) to plan on when to go out.
I'd preferably like to go some where near hampton (e.g. st kilda), but would be happy to make a day of it heading out to rye/rosebud.

So could someone please give me advice when looking on wind reports (seabreeze/bom) on what wind direction i should keep my eyes out for (i'm very cautious - being blown out to sea or onto beach rd terrifies me).
