I got a new Starboard 8'5 PRO over the weekend. It is a great board, turns well and is stable. I got mine in wood, does anyone know how the carbon compares?? I really like the wood one, looks great and is also lighter than the ast. It has a nice feature on the front, it is not glossy, so it can be walked on without slipping. Very happy with it. Anyone tried this board? I'm struggling to find reviews. Would also like to compare with the 2011 model. The 2012 has slightly less volume and looks a bit more performance orientated.
Sorry that Miller and I are not professional photographers but we managed to take turns at taking some photos. It sucked seeing all those waves go by unridden while sitting in the channel. We surfed for 5 hours on both the left and the right with it all to ourselves. The best photos taken had landscape in the background which would give away our secret.
