In between bouts of gastro, we managed to spend a couple hours out in the water off the coast of Sanya on Hainan Island. Scheduled 3 days of this including visits to the surf beach on the other side of the island as well as the secret submarine base cut into the cliff face, but spent most of our time within arms reach of the porcelain. Yeah I know, soft. Nevertheless, if you find yourself in Sanya or anywhere on Hainan, be sure to give the crew from Surfing Hainan a call.
