Finally after surfing tidal slop for the past few months the monsoon is here - which means waves - and no sign of any crocs yet but plenty of box jellyfish floating around!! Darwin is still having 6m tide differences but it's been awesome for the past 2 days and will be until Thursday. Surfed solid, glassy 6ft beachbreak at 5pm yesterday with only Jodie & myself on SUP's and 2 other shortboarders out, then this morning our usual spot had tidy, glassy 5' sets coming through on the outgoing tide - until the lightning and storm started anyway!! have another 6m high tide this afternoon and if the wind dies off again should be set for another 5-6' glassy session Will try and get some pics - Jodie was too busy SUPing yesterday arvo and this morning we had a few technical issues when the camera bounced off the road!!
