The answer is no, but after reading the post about someone sticking thier fingernail back on with tape to get back out in the water, and given the wide range of experience and intellectual ability cruising this forum, i thought there would have to be a few cracker home repair jobs involving gaffer tape, boards/bodies/cars/girlfriends etc.

I busted a finger during footy last year, couldnt straighten it so i made a splint with a metal ruler and gaffer tape, slept on it overnight and hey presto it was straight again, but unfortunately i couldnt bend it. went to docs a year later (took my time admittedly) and he said " yes its fractured and you what???if u came in when u did it it'd be fixed, but its fked now, well done" i still cant hold a bloody fork properly..idiot

surely theres more worthy ones out there??
