Just got back from Cooktown kited every day for 11 days . The wind blew non stop 24hrs .On arrival 3 days to warm up on, solid 25-30 knots . Then the remainder were 18-22. Warm water/ weather camped near the water what more could you ask for, awesome trip, here are some pics
