Home Surgery
Kiting buddy, Adrian knocked his leg whilst kiting the other day, resulting in a huge haematoma (accumulation of blood) down his shin. So, being the good doctor that he is, went back to his surgery, applied a bit of local anaesthetic to the leg and stick a large needle in there. He managed to drain off a far bit of blood and reduced the swelling considerably. He'll be off the water for a few weeks while it mends so we wish him a quick recovery.
Ten points for a gutsy effort. Can anyone top this?
