Wingin' it w/ Axis
Ah geeez. I'm in deep and getting deeper.
Started w/ SUP Foil and became addicted immediately. A few months ago I transitioned to prone foiling and have been obsessed w/ that- absolutely loving it. Now a friend is trying to talk me into getting a wind wing.
The thing is local wind conditions are typically pretty light. I'm 90Ks and if I'm gonna use the thing with any regularity I need to be able to use it in marginal 10-15kts. I have Axis foil gear- currently own a 900 &1000. My SUP board is 6' x 28 115L. I'm looking at the new Naish S25- 6.0. Hoping I can learn with that and the 1000 wing. Is that a reasonable expectation in light wind? Hoping so as the new Naish wing will blow my budget and... I don't really want to spend on a 1020 and there don't seem to be 1010s available anywhere.
