In its 5th year ,this totally unique event combines a ski race and kite race , 3 fridays ago the snow race at perisher was done first .Not Mt P..double anymore ,but from top of Interceptor chair down to ridge chair via bottom of pleasant valley chair and brumby t bar and rollercoaster run . Being the only skier entry and 5 snowboarders , I gave them a 20 second headstart overtook them easily...and won . The kite race component will be held in the first true noreast over 20 nots in October from towradgi to Wollongong harbour lighthouse downwind and back upwind to towradgi..at least 5 or 6 klms.. Towradgi Beach Hotel will be venue for presentation and dinner later.
