NSWWA Severne GerroaFest Results - 8/9 Feb 2020

Friday set the scene with some great conditions at the Berry turn off - jump city and happy days.

Then the comp kicked off in earnest on the Saturday. Gerroa was locked in with 4.5hrs of action on the water.

Summer Series Sponsor:

We have wind forecasted for the third event of the WSS Boards Summer Wavesailing Series, the Severne GerroaFest 1-2 Feb 2020.

Plus many wavesailors are heading to Gerroa Friday to enjoy a pre-event wavesail and a cool beer with an excellent bunch of guys and gals. (even if we say so ourselves).

Sign-on will be Saturday 1st Feb, 9.30am to 10.30am at the 7 Mile Beach car park, for an 11am first possible start. THE GOOD NEWS is we also have permits for other locations if the waves aren't great at Gerroa. eg Berry Turn off, Shoalhaven Heads, Werri, Windang.
We will be running an EXPRESSION SESSION too with beginner to expert coaching if you're interested?



EVEN MORE GOOD NEWS - we have a team house booked (with a table tennis) so if anyone wants a spot to sleep, text your request to Jason Juretic on 0402 320 940. There will be a prize for the winner of the NSWWA Table Tennis tournament.

Who will have East Coast 2019 Champion bragging rights?

Remember to register for this weekends Severne East Coast Titles Sat 16th - Tues 19th Nov. It's only $50 for current season members and $100 if you want to join us for this event only and includes:

*as much wavesailing as we can fit in

Set to take place in the same week as the Merimbula Classic, the event will make for the biggest week in Australian wavesailing.

This all new event will be based at Gerroa, NSW, but with a number of locations along the east coast ready to act as potential venues based on conditions. It will run alongside and complement the NSWWA's Summer Wavesailing Series.

The event will have all of the usual divisions, and is expected to attract sailors of all levels from competition newcomers through to seasoned pros and will have a structured heat format. As with our other events, we will be using the hugely popular SurfComp app for judging which allows anyone to follow heat scores live. Register for the East Coast Titles here www.nswwavesailing.org

With Merimbula to be held in the same week, this will make for the perfect wavesailing week and a great week-long trip for interstate sailors.
