Bluejuice did a top job of bonding the paddle to mast, (the tape is for protection) thankx mate....

the difference between the old naish ally and my custom is amazing....OODLES more power, it's amazing what a few extra inches and a stiffer shaft can do..... - fnar fnar -

Compared it with Greenrooms starboard carby paddle and it's got MORE power, probably due to the bigger paddle area and the shaft is prepeg carby...but is a lot heavier !! ...

i've made it a touch too long, hence the tape job on the T grip, to see how i go...

Flatwater cruising - perfect.

Waves - Took it out for a late night glassy wave sesh at Mets last night ...scored heaps of waves, but found the extra length a bit akward for catching waves, and extra paddle strokes on the wave.

overall very pleased with the outcome and the saving in my pocket
