thinking about it the other day, i remember once (many moons ago), walking the dog on elwood beach, the morning after a ripper storm....no breeze and a really small but glassy wave in front of the concrete pier about 200m up from the sailing club....there was also an unthinkable wave at ST Kilda marina, where the windsurfers launch from.....mind u the water was chocky brown full of branches....

After skulking around a bit, asking a few questions and giving a few comments I thought I'd add some photos.

The first one is me on the maiden voyage of an old windsurfer I bought off ebay at the start of Feb, I was glad of the wetty coz I ended up in the drink a few times thanks to a few boat wakes.



Below is a few photos of a guy who was out on a stormy Sunday having a ball on his own.







The following Sunday was nice and sunny and this pod of SUPers were enjoying some little peelers.







and finally not SUP related but everyone else has been showing off their pride and joys, not a board, not a bike, but I'm happy to devote heaps of time to him, (sorry bout the plumbers cleavage)
