I could see wind generators and solar panels pumping sea water during the day to a fish farm and returning some water via the river entrance opening up the river entrance and if it was cleaned out Marlo could have even a marina and other employment including
Fisher men as well as other industries that needed power.
Id rather live there than any city
and in bad weather coming it would be nice to know it was there and add what they use in emergency power in mining as a cheap source of saving energy
even at house level

and if you had good NBN you could work on line even for the state Government from home
