Newbie question....
Forgive me, im not a sailor so this question may sound stooopid. In million dollar yacht races like syd to hobart, volvo 70 and america's cup the yachts are all single hulled, yet state of the art 60 ft trimarans are achieving 40knts + in the open ocean and circumnavigating the globe in 57 days. So why has a switch not been made to these boats?
