Has anyone used Duotone Ventis with 1000cm2 foil or smaller? How did you like it? Did you make it work / enjoy it?
I'd like to get more light wind performance, but I'm not keen on getting a huge front wing - both because it would require getting a thicker mast, but also because I'd love to have decent speed even on light wind days. I'm thinking that more speed gives you more apparent wind, which should make it even easier to stay on foil. But I'm not sure how well the Ventis can handle speed or if it's just too bulky? I'd probably be going for the 8m version and currently my biggest foil is Gong Veloce V2 L (1100cm2). Any thoughts?
