I'd say the wings feel pretty consistent across the entire SF range. For example, the SF1230 is a great light-wind weapon. I personally ride the 680, 930, and 1230, and both the 1230 and 930 have such a low stall speed that I can easily dock start them. Of course, the bigger sizes like the 1230 aren't super fast, but they more than make up for it with incredible low-end power and a really surfy feel.
I can definitely recommend the SF series! Another big plus for North is that the Sonar foil system (Alu & Carbon) has remained compatible from the very beginning until today. It's the only brand that has managed to stay this consumer-friendly over all these years.
I've tested the 5m extensively and found that I can ride the same upwind angles as with a wing. On top of that, the wind range of the Rover is extremely wide. For me, it's definitely one of the best parawings on the market.
