I have owned both and have ridden both extensively. I am also in the 100kg++ club.

My only caveat is that I did not own them at the same time, so I am going from memory on the F-One.

Both are great all around user friendly foils for really big guys in lighter winds and / or tiny tiny waves. Choice depends on your need and your skill level.

If you are prone surfing tiny waves, I might choose the F-One. It rolls well and snaps well for it's size. It rises politely for it's size. It is less locked in than the Go Foil.

If you are seeking low end for light wind winging, I would go with the Go Foil 2200 with the 20-inch tail. It is quite exceptional for big guys. Great low end. Surprisingly good speed for it's size. And SUPER glide through jibes and transitions. Allows you to get better faster.

I believe the Go Foil with the 20" tail would lift and fly earlier than the F-One when winging.

If the wind is blowing enough where you don't have to pump much to get going, both foils will wing similarly. The GoFoil's 20-inch tail would be a more stable feeling ride over the F-One with the smaller stock tail. The F-One would be a more active ride, less of a locked feel.

The smaller 15" tail of the F-One (the 275) and something about the F-One's shape allows it to feel a bit more surfy.

GoFoil with the 20" tail is pretty darn user friendly.

I wonder if the F-One 2200 would have more glide around jibes and a more locked feel winging with a larger tail than the 275.

In short... similarly good wings for big boys for what they are. Can't go wrong.

To gain skills in light wind winging, Go Foil.
Prone surfing tiny waves, F -One.

If you go F-One and wing it in marginal winds, it "might" be more enjoyable to use a rear wing that is larger than stock on the F-One if possible. Just a guess for 100kg++ guys.

Let me repeat the caveat, I didn't ride them back to back. I'm going from memory, which can play tricks on you!
