I am able to get up on 16-18 knots with Korvenn Pro Glider 4'10 board, Gong X-over XXL and 6.2 Ullman Osprey wing. My wight is 82 kg, height 183 cm.
Gencion, I just noticed that you are using the Ullman Osprey 6.2 wing. Do you like the Osprey wing?
I bought an Ullman Osprey 3.2 for the strong wind days but was not able to test it yet (probably not for at least a month or two - now it is a low-wind season here). I just pumped it to see how it looks and feels and first impressions are great - it feels quite rigid (though for such a small size that is probably normal) and I do like handles.
By the way, my 4.5 wing is back from the repair shop and my low wing front wing arrived (105 cm span, 1950 cm2 area) so I tested this combo a few times (with my 72 kg & board 65l) and I do like it. I needed a small gust and a lot of pumping to get on foil but after that, during many lulls, I wondered how is it possible that I am still on a foil when the wind was so weak.
Currently, I feel that the bodyweight board (a bit less in my case) can be quite a nice all-conditions board and that I just need 2 foils and two wings to cover everything from a gentle breeze to a gale-force wind.
