Going to be in Melbourne for July and August, looking to base myself somewhere central-ish but with a decent downwind/wave spot nearby. From a bit of research Beaumaris area might be a good spot, some waves at Ricketts and train up to St Kilda for downwinders in the prevailing N-NW? Or are there better options? Trying to avoid having to get a car if I can avoid it. Cheers
