On my endless quest for the perfect one-board quiver, I'm considering purchasing an OMEN board.I weigh 73 kg and typically sail in Japan (gusty winds and very sharky waters).Has anyone tried the OMEN Emissary 66L or 55L?
The "official" reviews are all so positive, so I'd love to hear whether the takeoff is as fast as their PR suggests.I ride F-One foils, so any feedback on how well they pair would also be greatly appreciated.

Omen boards are known for exceptional and bizarre low end capabilities. While I have not yet tested the emissary, the v1 flux 60l was a shocking revelation to me at 86kg. When properly powered I felt like that board was outstanding. The emissary should be better.

I have the emissary in 55l at 80kg. I like the board very much. It's very responsive and it has large tracks so I guess most foils will fit. I ride it with afs. With the stinkbug start you can get the board going very quickly. Only in heavy chop/onshore winds I'd suggest going for higher volume.

I've had an Omen Emissary for the past year and absolutely love it. I'm 77kg and ride the 55L. Had it out yesterday in 28knots with a 2.2 on Armstrong MA890, there was some great wind swell and the board ripped. (At least in my mind). I've had it out for cruising in 15knots and it gets up easily for me with a 4.5. I can't say anything bad about it.

Great board. I have 5'5" 19.5" 55L at 85KG

It is my good wind board. Love it with straps. Has offset in back so really good leverage. Super stiff and responsive. Worry free construction is the best. Once you have power to hit the surface of the water it releases and takes off super easy. Great feelings overall and handles touchdowns and hitting whitewater super smoothly.

Tracks should be able to handle any foil as nice and long.

Board feels solid but not light. It is the trade off for super stiff and no worry construction.

100% would purchase this board again right now. Only thing better would be new hollow tech coming to market from a number of manufactures.

Note I'm not worried about sitting deep in the water waiting for a shark to take a bite. Upside of riding the lakes.

I have a ton of long videos riding it and you can see for yourself:
