Hello

Is there anyone here who has Naish Chimera 6.6.
How is this board as only board for low wind and few times a year in a bit stronger wind up to 18-20kt. I need volume, because I am on inland lake with gusty wind. On/off type.

A friend and I both have tbe 2025 6ft x 20in Chimera and find them to be the next level in performance for winging and FDA.
We are both about 75kg a d definitely recommend them.

So 6.6 should be good board for inland lake with on off wind. I need volume to survive time without gusts and something that is quick to get foiling again.

I own the 6'2 2025 model 88 liters.

Have only tried it parawinging - it gets going pretty fast but definitely not as fast as my downwind board of 115 liters. Could be a technique issue on my sides

it feels like a tiny board and construction looks very good in my opinion. Light weight but solid. Deck pads are high quality. The board feels very nimble after a DW board.
whether a 6'6 is a good board for an inland lake totally depends on your weight, the foils you are using, etc. I would say my 88l is the ideal killer quiver that covers high winds up to 30 knots with normal wing and parawing and down to 12 knots (with a LEI wing, not parawing) for me:

If you are thinking of Foil driving with the board - FORGET IT! Signal is terrible through the board!

No problems with the signal with FDA on my 6ft 2025 x 70l Chimera even with an 85kg guy.
Foam in the tracks is essential. Photo is a friend having his first go on my 6ft I am 72kg.

Interesting, they say signal issues vary from board to board so maybe I was just unlucky. Of course, the external antenna solves the problem entirely .

Depending on your weight, you could probably go up a size or two as well. More volume and length may help you get going quicker too. I know it helped me tremendously.
