Has there anybody experience with the MA1050v2 in comparison to the sf930 or sf830?
I, 89kg, really love the MA1050V2 with S178 and 600CF in all conditions from 4m-6.5m wing, the only thing I miss is the glide. I wonder, if the SF930 and/ or SF830 offer the same speed?! The glide should be better anyway?!
Thanks for your answer.
At 75 kg I spent loads of time on the sf1080 and sf830 with s215 and s142 tails. The 830 was by far the funnest! Incredible low end, great to bank and carve. It glides if you pump it. The s142 tail helped a lot. All with c700
Recently tried a friend's MA1050v2 with s208 tail and couldn't fall in love with it. Way too much on rails and felt big and draggy, really had to hold the nose of the board down (I should have adjusted the mast slightly .. but I was strapless too)
So for a looser more fun setup the 830 for sure. My friend tried the 830 and didn't like it at all. Said it was too nervous.
In terms of glide can't say which has more glide. The 830 has great low end and is happy to be pumped for glide (but it doesn't glide like the HA1050 which once up to speed has loads of glide)
I guess every setup change needs min 30 minutes of dial in time to appreciate the changes, although there are those foils where you instantly go WOW + big grin!
