G'day all,

I've got an older second hand board it's 150L perfect for my weight. Thing is, its grip is well past worn and I'm sliding straight of it and have trouble standing with my rear foot just sliding off.
my question is, besides a new grip and grippy shoes, has any ever used any other means to increase grip? Noticed a few spray on types at Bunnings.

Appreciate any advice.

You can wax the deck, if this isn't enough sand it to rough it up. Wax should be enough, otherwise a new deck pad

No - just wax the deck grip.
