Hi All,
I ran over the leading edge of my gong 6m superpower . The wind wing was repaired in a day however I've tried to get a quote from gong and it's been a while. I'm new to kites and wind wings. Can I get an alternative bladder, or a repair? I was a little surprised how flimsy bladders are.
The 6m Superpower has been great fun. Pumping the wing you really get some speed up.
Thanks

In kiting, there are after-market companies that either sell copies of common bladders or will make them custom. One is Air-Time in Oregon, maybe same available in australia? They tend to be the same price or a little cheaper than OEM, and good quality.
You can also repair bladders, even big rips. The pros use some sort of welding. I know people who have done with aquaseal patches and report them as strong as new. (eg may pop it again but in a different spot) I am leery of trusting a repaired bladder kiting, but less risk in winging, as you can just paddle in.

Be careful inflating the centre strut. There's a gap where it meets the leading edge.
