I was looking at the dlab skybird board and reading a review on their website.

On the review a duotone responder said they are releasing a parawing specific version of it 13/5/26....... does anyone know if this is correct?

PARADOX SLS vs. SKYBRID - Both boards are mid-length shapes, both work for a variety of disciplines like Wing Foiling, Parawing, Foil Assist and Prone Foiling (in small sizes).
Here's what sets the Paradox SLS apart from the Skybrid:
+ Lower rocker: Paradox SLS takes off earlier & pumps more efficient, which is important when downwinding - less controlled when going faster with the wing vs. Skybrid, which has the front foot higher.
+ Reduced bottom surface (more bevelled, pointy nose, step tail): Can be pumped out of the water through legs better vs. the wider bottom of the Skybrid, which offers more stability and ease of use in return.
+ More maneuverable/agile vs. Skybrid, making the Paradox SLS the more surfy option for the more advanced rider.
+ Longer esp. in bigger sizes. Adds glide for earlier take-off with Parawing. Smaller volumes are similar in lengths - for more advanced riders / windier conditions.
+ Lighter construction (more like Crush/Midfish), with front strap option only, to avoid jumping - Skybrid can be jumped and ridden with both feet in straps!

Rode one today on wing and parawing - nice board. This one is the 90L. I've bought a 75L one that should be here in about a week or so time.

Just read the specs on the Paradox, looks like they missed the mark, too much volume in the longer boards.

Is reading spec sheets instead of riding boards they way we judge them now? I hope not because I've ridden some boards that looked great on the spec sheet and just didn't work at all.

For me the specs on lots of these so called PW boards are far from ideal.
I am looking at 60 to 70 litres but I don't want a 5'6 or 5'8. I want at least 5'10 and ideally 6'

yes, when will they ever keep that length and get MUCH THINNER (encouraging to see the KT claiming the Arc is thinner, although specs I'm seeing show those dims as TBA)

Actually the thickness specs are up on the website now for the Arc and no longer TBD.
