I have some time in Perth after christmas and I was wondering if you westerners could recommend a coupla spots for me? I've sailed lancelin and gerro on previous trips, but I'm looking for somewhere that has some things for my wife to do when I'm sailing, so I was hoping to stay closer to perth.

I'm into wavesailing, just not particularly good at it, so somewhere with some mellow options would be great.

any suggestions?

Scabs is pretty mellow
But if you want even more mellower than Scabs go a few mins south to Dutchies in Cott. Its either got no waves or the wave is just weak, if you wanna call it a wave
Then there is Metts which is a few mins north of Scabs and is pretty similar but just add old windsurfers and rocks
Btw I'm trying to be funny but not succeeding very well
Im gonna go now...
