Where to sail

Hi All,
Im over from Qld and would like to do some flat water blasting, but where to go?
If you can recommend a palce with street name please.

Iv'e been looking at google maps, is pelican point a good spot in s to se? any help would be appreciated.

Hi, yeah welcome to Perth hope you enjoy the wind! Pelican point is a good spot, nice grassed area and a fair few other sailors. Family friendly and lots of bbqs. Mostly flat water but can get little bumpy out in the middle when the wind's up.

You could also try up towards Attadale, where the water is a little flatter.

Pelican Point carpark on Hackett Drive Nedlands
Melville (aka Lucky Bay) carpark at Cunningham St/Melville Beach Rd Melville
Safety Bay, Safety Bay Rd and Bent Street (weed fin required)

Thanks i was there today, its nice to see sailboarding is still strong here, back in Qld we are getting 1/4 of the turn out that you have here.
Pelican bay is such a good place to sail lots of water, parking, grate rigging area and everybody was very friendly. Thanks to everyone there today and i look forward to sailing with you all again soon.
