After sailing my local (without Miller and Leech because they both are pikers) I decided to see what was happening at Metts. 3 blokes out and windy as hell.
Here is Gazza doing some gardening amongst the rocks
not to familiar with north of the river spots, is that near the suburb northbeach?? looks real nice!
It's in North Beach about 1km north of Trigg between Lynne st and Giles St. But 98% of the time it's cr4p just like Dutch Inn, flat with a few waist high lumps. But when the swell is 2m plus it's an awesome place to sail (it's a swell magnet), well worth the drive.
Metts was heaps better today than yesterday. Gazza told me so. saw Alberto crack a few nice ones and saw Ben crack a couple dangerously close to the rocks.
Mett's was good yesterday(sunday). Surfers were not happy jan. The rocks were good fun to,everyone had a smile on their face & hitting everything. great start to the season.
good to see gazza digging turnips in the garden ...again
the piker.
not just turnips i had enough veggies for Sunday dinner im going back next week to scrape my skin off the reef so i can have some meat to....
did a late sess on sunday it was smaller and not so windy but the waves were alot cleaner than on sat. Best of all no swimming on the reef its a shame the best wave is in the worst spot...
