It is on again,... AUSTRALIA'S PREMIER GATHERING of SPEED SAILING FANATICS.
SPEED FORTNIGHT.
Join in the fun. From Saturday 27th September 2008 to Sunday 12th October 2008.
There was also word that the Slalom Nationals would be held a SP during this time.
It's casual, social and when SP turns it on it is unreal. (if you are into flat water and silly speeds)
Just bring your GPS and a really good wettie....
And if you are looking for somewhere to stay, let me know... I am booking a house for those weeks -> there might be a spare bed (and a hot shower!)
Note that the Slalom Nationals are on following the Melbourne Cup long weekend, Tuesday 4th - Saturday 8th November (ie: the Sept/Oct thing is for Al Green's speed-fortnight).
Not from WA but perhaps moving there soon. Is Melbourne Cup Day a holiday in WA as its not a holiday in NSW?

Just to avoid further confusion - "The" Sandy Point (SP) is in Victoria (down near Wilsons Prom) and is Australia's best speedsailing location (discovered so far...)

Hey everyone, if anyone is looking for a house to stay at at Sandy Point during the slalom, I have a house for rent.
