On a day when Huey Delivered Big Time, the 2 premier speed sailing spots battled it out, Result = No Contest......... Point Walter is King.

The trip down south is officially not worth it anymore, No need for slow weed fins, petrol saved, environment carbon credit bonus points, and Point Walter now becomes a southerner's pilgrimage instead

To put it in context Hardie the window of opportunity yesterday was extremely narrow. I hit the water an hour after Dan and it was crap.

I was even more gutted when I heard what he'd done. Not saying I would have been able to rival those speeds, but definitely could've busted a few PB's and maybe given 40K a nudge.

Pt Walter may be King, but he's a fickle Master.

Respect to Dan and Slowie though, it was impressive stuff in those conditions.
