Hypothetically, if some mad palooka were to want to do a dawn sail tomorrow, launching from Dalkeith, are there any reasonable launch spots near there?

Is Bishop road (or bishop road reserve) any good?

Gotta get my fix...

[EDIT] Didn't realise peli point was just around the corner, will try that tomorrow.

Next time Gadget, next time.

bishops has a bit of a steep climb up to the car park... I'd just drive the extra couple of km to Peli Point.

ummm just in case you didnt see the other thread....if there is any west at all melville will be a far better bet although a launch out of nedlands yacht club would be ok and you can reach across the river keep an eye out for slowboat going super sonic in the melville moguls!!

Had a look at Dalkeith from the kayak on a calm day. Some rocks to avoid in close. Best bet would be rig up and carry down separately as the path is a bit narrow and tight.
Good luck.
