Yeah why is that! even at scarbs a couple of gaylords leave their pack and want to sail amonst the windsurfers. What tha? It's a hazard to my gear trying to dodge boards floating around in the break.


We call them pole dancer land mines.
Best left placed when the sun is low in the sky so they are hard to spot.

I love how the gaylords like to dangle around windsurfers especially here in the windsurfing forums.

I did not intend to spark the usual kiting / windsurfing debate since I do and enjoy both.
I just liked the picture as it captured a great session.
The reason I like to kite at that spot is the same as the windsurfers, its the only wave that you can ride without ripping out your fins.
