Best Wind Season Ever For Perth

Its going to be a fantastic season of wind.

I base this on the fact that there has been no wind for the last 3 weeks.

Sort of like stretching an elastic to its extreme

Sort of like inflating a balloon and then watching it burst

Sort of like watching the ASX200 rally hard and then watching it get smashed

I think I am loosing it, it better blow soon, I am running out of projects at home to keep my mind off windsurfing.

God help us on the next weekend where there is actual (meaninful) wind.
There will be a plethora of desperate windsurfers streaming onto the water and ripping up every possible knot of wind there is

That means if it is a southerly, there will be none left by the time it gets here cos all you guys caught it with your sails

Hey don't worry it will be a good season, yesterday was my first day in perth and the wind was cranking, broke the curse, i think i left the no wind demon in the east..

not today! took big bertha out at roberts for waves and barely a puff. was hanging to try out the mast and sails sponsored to me by a local someone. still..... better than watching tv.

yer or is it called dutchies? yer was good to get on the water in a normal wetsuit, was almost like summer, i was a bit stacked on a 5.3m so the chop was a bit much at first but got used to it, got a few little waves, they have a bit of punch so was all fun and games. seam like a good group of guys to sail with, i'm sure i'll get to know a lot of them over the summer..
