So Friday the 16th December to 19th?

There are many speed strips and open flat water lagoons One all-time session was a wave sail at Leo's in south Easter n the side of the island side shore master high before it swung ssw at 25 to 35 I went behind the island in knee waist deep over 2km you can pitch up into shollower water before fanging off the wind a seal freaked me out / top end inside the southern group is fast smooth and epic over 2 to5 km to

Often looked at this trip but never really sure if was only hardcore wave sailors but looking at the photos looks fairly varied.

So do you normally stay on the boat?
What does the $650 include?
Do you normally sail from the boat or from the islands?

I went a couple of years ago for the first time and had a great time, certainly different when its just horizon around you. I'm an average sailor but I wish I was fitter. Managed a surf also which was good fun, but don't go right its a lot of ducking diving

On your trip out, do you get to see if there are any long flat water speed runs? Coz you might get a fair bit of interest from the GPS speedsailing community for a trip to the Ab's in future. Want some photos or films of potential flat water speed runs, and you could fill a boat trip easy if thats your business? hardie

Hardie, I've done a bunch of these trips and there is awesome potential for speedsailing out there.

A dedicated speedsailing trip would be best, as most of the wave sailing spots are not adjacent to speed strips (Leo Island is the exception).

There are some massive lagoons protected by the outer reef that would be hell fun for a big downwinder as well. The wave sailing out there is fantastic, the free-riding / speedsailing could be similarly epic.
