Damn you Inverloch people. ** day in town . . . . .
Had a good hour today (~1pm) in the waves at Flinders ocean beach on a 111 litre and 5.3 before my arms could take no more. Big thanks to Matt and Lachlan for the locals' knowledge and a great rundown of the spots around Philip Island - am looking forward to more of going beyond the bay and out into the waves. WooHoo! : )
6 pb's to the Southerly Busters GPS team says it all. Thanks to Dazza and Dan the team is now sitting in 3rd for Australia woohoo and Kato where are the Pit Crew on the ladder?![]()

Did the kiter end up getting his board back at Area 45?
2 unanswered kite forum posts for boards lost at Inverloch on that day, so probably not.
Did the kiter end up getting his board back at Area 45?
That's rough. Never had a good experience kiting there. A45 has like a bad kiting jinx or something.....
In between the bits of old concrete and rusty scaffolding in the water.... no thanks... I'm done.
These days I much prefer Brighton, never have an issue there.
Hope the guy found his board.

It didn't help that it was incredibly gusty and the guy had no idea what he was doing... as soon as he took off with the poo stance we knew he was in trouble.
3 mins later his tea bag was looping downwind of him and was pulling him along until he could hit his quick release.
Lucky it was only his board that he lost and bit of pride that was lost.
