if this strong wsw-sw holds up it would be worthwhile checking out the shoreham area for saturday. the swell would be pretty decent size and there are a few spots around there that would be cross-cross off.
so the question is who wants to give me a lift?

Might be Flaka if it is: Cross shore and not to big! What direction does Point Leo work in? as I think Flinders and other beaches might be a bit blown out.

pt leo would work better in a wsw or w. sw would be perfect for the pines at shoreham or maybe little noosa depending on the tide. if it had a bit too much south we would be able to sail crunchie pt but it is a bit more sheltered so probably a bit less windy.
swell should probably be around 3-4 feet if its 30 knots.

Never surfed the Pines or little Noosa so unsure about windsurfing these spots. What are the beaches like? Come on boys lets make a plan! Flaka: I might need my smaller sails, so put them in your car.....

if you have a look here this is the pines on a 35-40 knot day.

If you do a web search on Shoreham you should find it. Or wait for Al to post directions. With the wind forecast flicking about we might not sail the Pines but another location. All down to the direction tomorrow.

Boys: Lets get this plan sorted. If required I can check them out early in the morning, although my vote is lets just go....

it is a tricky call to make... the tide is low around 1.15 so it means an early morning or late afternoon session. problem is the wind direction is looking more favourable in the morning but possibly not that strong. in the afternoon it will be stronger but could have too much south meaning that we would have to sail crunchie pt...

It is blowing its nuts off down here at the moment! Lets give a go AM, we can always sail PM if it isn't windy enough AM.

Hey guys! looks like it was fun down there! I was wondering where Jodi was - pity she missed Evans double mast high backloop at Dendy. Looks like there was a bit less wind down there. Wish everyday had wind like that. Hope you're all going to hit Ricketts tomorrow night - should be awesome!
