Hi all,

I'm new to the area so don't really know any of the spots. Will anyone be heading to any of the ocean spots for some wavesailing this weekend and be willing to let me tag along? I have a van, just need some good local knowledge!!

Cheers!!

Hey mate
could be an option for a sail Sunday if the wind goes NW and not straight Northerly

the two main options will be either 13th beach:

OR Sandy Pt:

Sandy Pt generally picks up a lot more wind and is a pretty safe bet.

Swell will be very small this weekend though

Thanks for that,

I'll maybe wait for some more swell, 1-2 ft probably isnt worth the drive. So if it stays straight northerly where is the best in the bay, greens?

thanks again.

Yep. Probably Green Point or Rye if you are down that way. Quite a few sail at Bonbeach on a northerly I've been told but I haven't tried it. Should be 20plus, guys out at GP if the wind comes up, particularly if it is as consistent as last Sunday.

Shame the the wind didn't really come through at green last Sunday. So is tomorrows forecast looking good for sandy point, 4-5 ft swell and a decent NW?? Will anyone be going?

Good stuff, how early is early? Is the beach easy enough to find??

It's opposite the shop or it's the carpark by the right angle bend in the road on way to
Waratah

Former is a little cleaner wind though most trips involve a healthy debate about how the other beach will be better
