For the first time i can remember the missus is at work, daghter is at nana's, and i've got a totally free day, and wouldn't you know it.... barely a breath of wind.
I dont care. im going out anyway, even if just to practice light wind tecniques.
Question is wheres a good spot on the eastern side of port phillip that will work with the "predicted" south east / north east .... generally easterly kind of breeze.
help please![]()

i know how ya feel brother. if i were you i would hang around the green point or st kilda area and look watch the trees for any sign of wind. they seem to be the most windy areas of the city.
theres allways skateboarding![]()
thanks man, was thinking of greens which is where i normally go, except it probably would have been a bit ofshore, tho it looks like a bit came in from the south for a while which would have been ok, but is dying again. getting too close to pick up daughter time now so i've given it a miss.
Am probably heading to inverloch this weekend for a few days and its looking a bit better, so that might be my chance to catch up on sailing time.
Looks like more easterlies for the w/end. i guess theres somewhere at inverloch where easterlies will work... any idea?
btw my skating days are well over. i figure a 41 yo hanging at the skate park would be a bit wierd... unless your Tony Hawk.... and i aint no Tony Hawk.
i'd only end up smashing myself.... just like i do windsurfing but water's a bit softer.. just like me these days
