Swan bay is a great place to sail once you know your way around... very shallow on low tides. Lake Connewarre great spot to learn ... works on anything with south wind in it.. can get weedy so will need a weed fin eventually. Point Henry in Geelong is also another great spot to learn . Barwon heads river also good but beware tides can rip through... hope that helps a bit ..
