IF you are heading down through out the week, down here in Geelong we have got some good forecasts for Swan Bay this week, 40 knot runs there if your keen and the forecast for Sandy Point is looking pretty good for Friday/Saturday, at the moment, still early for that though Might catch ya on the water!!

Sandy Point is the goods this weekend. Windguru has Wednesday, Friday and Saturday looking *really* good.... suggest bringing a speed board, but you didn't hear it from me...

If you cannot make it down that far (from Melbourne...), St Kilda, Elwood, Ricketts Point, etc will all provide some good bump'n'jump.

I'd suggest at least a 3/2mm for wetsuit... water temp is 18deg, but within the next few days, I'd expect it to drop to 17deg.

In a Westerly, where you rate the best bump and jump? Elwood?

Ricketts is popular in a westerly, Safety beach is also very good with no reef to worry about and if the wind turns sw its still fine, just north of the bp is the popular spot.
