Just for something different, I thought I'd steer thing back onto topic.
I'm going to get all nostalgic but one of my most memorable sessions occurred way back in jan 1986. Windsurfer One Design...12-15 knot seabreeze, beautiful sunny day and I took off on a broad reach and planed for the first time....26 years later I still feel the rush!

My second board [ Wayler Ypsi] had footstraps and fully retractable db. The sheer elation of feeling that extra surge and control that only straps and a harness can deliver. Still smiling.
Then again, my first session in the waves at Byron Bay, summer 1984 still sticks. Sailing my girlfriend's father's Mistral Maui, oh man that thing was sooo tech!
