It seems Seabreeze got Saturday right by Thursday.
The Thursday seabreeze forecast was pretty much spot on for both days!
For Sat 10am, 1pm, 4pm, sun 10am, 1pm, 4pm
Actuals were 24,21,23,36,16,15
Seabreeze Thursday alvo said 23,22,22,31,26,18
Though the bom clever model called the change on Sunday right on Saturday night.
Seabreeze scored pretty low on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Moral from last week seems to be BOM port philip is best long term, Seabreeze mid term and BOM clever model for spotting changes - though it did under egg Saturday
Interesting but too time consuming. Won't be doing it again.
got to take em all with a pinch of salt....
more of a guide line give or take 10kts (normally take
)
today i went on the theory that it was blowing it's tits off all night, so if it's still windy in the morn , then i'll go.
rye was great until the rain arrived.
Must have just missed you Wind Miller, I arrived as the rain came and it went crap. Guess you were one of those fellas packing up.
BOM called 55 knot squalls and we got caught right in middle of them...amazing to see how localised they were and how quickly they came across bay. Body is feeling a few of them. But FLIP it was fun.... need to go out and buy a smaller sail now
